I am so very proud of you for your strength and total dependence on our Lord through this very difficult trial. Our Lord uses you to give me strength too. I have never known anyone who had such a strong faith and TOTAL assurance that God will bring them through this. That also increases my faith. Hi Michael,
Recently I had the pleasure of meeting your sister, Rhonda I think is her name. It was a brief meeting but a very spiritually directed one. You see I lost my brother in 2004 at the age of 45 to GBM. I just happened to drive from Chicago, where I live now, to visit my daughter and grand-daughter in Jeff City. When on a whim we decided to get a paper and look for houses for sale. An what do you know but the first add we looked at was your sister's house. Neither one of us could believe it, as we had also lived in that same neighborhood years back, raised both my daughters in a house up the street. Long story short we went to see the house and just in passing your sister mentioned that her brother was sick. I instantly new in the pit of my stomach before I even asked what you were sick with, that it was going to be with GBM. I wanted you to
know that you, your family are in my family's daily prayers. The most important thing I wanted you to know is that I just received an email from another brother stating that Duke University has now developed a vaccine for GBM, its not a cure but it guarentee's 36 months of life. I felt you need to know about this and maybe could get a shot, again, I'll be praying for you.
